Things we'll do

1. Explore Monkey Forrest & Ubud King Place

Monkey Forest Ubud or also known as the Holy Mandala Wenara Wana is a nature reserve area as well as a temple complex located in Ubud, Bali. This place is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ubud and is often visited by more than 10,000 tourists every month. This area is home to about 340 Macaca fascicularis, better known as long-tailed macaques. The monkeys are divided into four groups, each of which occupies a different area in the forest. Ubud King Place is the place where Ubud’s long tradition of home stays all began, more than 80 years ago, when Bali first started to attract bohemian artists from around the world. Renting one of five traditional stone bungalows in the sumptuous royal courtyard is still quite an experience, and every night the palace comes alive with the sound of Gamelan music as Balinese dances are performed just across the wall from Puri Saren Agung.

2. Explore The Holly Spring Temple

Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring, Bali, Indonesia. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy. Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese.

3. Explore The Semi Active Volcano and Lake Batur

The Kintamani tourism area is located in the northeastern part of the island of Bali and is under the caldera of Mount Batur. Mount Batur is one of the active volcanoes in Bali. In addition to the volcano, in the Kintamani tourism area, tourists can also see the scenery of a natural lake called Lake Batur.

4 & 5. See and Explore Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located about 30 minutes away from the artsy and popular tourist town of Ubud. Somewhat secluded and nestled in lush, jungle surroundings, Tegenungan Waterfall is visited by tourists daily and can be a great break from the Indonesian heat. Additionally, the waterfall is quite beautiful, so shutterbugs should get their cameras ready!
