Monkey Forest Ubud or also known as the Holy Mandala Wenara Wana is a nature reserve area as well as a temple complex located in Ubud, Bali. This place is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ubud and is often visited by more than 10,000 tourists every month. This area is home to about 340 Macaca fascicularis, better known as long-tailed macaques. The monkeys are divided into four groups, each of which occupies a different area in the forest. Ubud King Place is the place where Ubud’s long tradition of home stays all began, more than 80 years ago, when Bali first started to attract bohemian artists from around the world. Renting one of five traditional stone bungalows in the sumptuous royal courtyard is still quite an experience, and every night the palace comes alive with the sound of Gamelan music as Balinese dances are performed just across the wall from Puri Saren Agung.

The Kanto Lampo Waterfall was created after the Kanto Lampo river region was hit by an avalanche. This waterfall is in the Kelod Kangin hamlet, Beng village in Gianyar, Bali. This may not be one of the best-known waterfalls in Indonesia but is a perfect day trip spot from Ubud. This region is hidden away in Bali’s jungle and the waterfall is 10 meters from the Kanto Lampo spring. The water that now flows over the rocky cliff which was previously used for irrigation of farmlands. The cliff above is an irrigation channel but the water now gushes endlessly over the cliff.

Tibumana derived from the word ‘tibu’, which means a deep riverbed or plunge pool. This can be spotted from the extensively deep plunge pool of the waterfall.

The cliffs surrounding the waterfall are overgrown with greenery and moss, which enhances the splendor of Tibumana Waterfall.
